News Update: Advancing Biogas Innovation with the ALFA Project Webinar
On November 14, 2024, PEDAL Consulting, in collaboration with Sustainable Innovations, hosted the second webinar in the ALFA Project series. This session focused on the opportunities and challenges associated with biogas plants, emphasising the potential of biowaste in renewable energy production.
The event highlighted cutting-edge technologies for biodegradable waste processing and showcased practical examples of utilising bakery, kitchen, and restaurant waste as a biogas feedstock. Expert speakers, including Dávid Kančo of the Slovak Biogas Association and Ondřej Frič of agriKomp Bohemia, addressed key topics such as the energy potential of various feedstocks, technological innovations, and the economic dynamics of waste processing.
