ALFA Project Hosts Two-Day Stakeholder Event in Aarhus, Denmark

From April 1st to 2nd, 2025, the ALFA project held a successful two-day event in Aarhus, Denmark, bringing together project partners, industry experts, researchers, farmers, and beneficiaries for a dynamic programme of field visits, mutual learning, networking, and a project meeting.

The first day featured site visits to Frisjenborg Biogas and Aarhus University’s biogas facility, offering practical insights into Denmark’s leading-edge biogas technologies and challenges. A Mutual Learning Workshop, hosted at Agro Food Park by FBCD, included expert presentations on biogas market trends, policy landscapes, technological innovations, and scalable farm solutions like GreenFarm™.

On the second day, the “Green Energy Connections: Biogas, Biomethane & Beyond networking event highlighted success stories from ALFA Open Call awardees, European biomethane projects, and key policy developments. The event concluded with the 7th ALFA Project Meeting, where partners reviewed progress and aligned on final-phase goals, including policy recommendations and replication strategies.

A heartfelt thank you to all participants and our Danish hosts for making this event a collaborative success in advancing sustainable biogas and livestock farming across Europe.
