The ALFA Project announces its 2nd open call, offering free, tailored support for biogas projects in the livestock sector. This call provides business and technical guidance to empower stakeholders who are invested in developing sustainable biogas solutions. ALFA's goal is to boost renewable energy sources in livestock farming and help reduce the environmental impact of agricultural waste.

Eligible participants include livestock farmers, farmer associations, biogas plants, energy communities, and investors, and particularly those in biogas production and sustainable farming practices. The selected projects will benefit from business planning, market assessments, and mentorship opportunities, as well as support for accessing financing.

The open call also encourages collaboration across sectors to drive regional and community-based approaches to renewable energy, which can strengthen local economies. ALFA is looking for forward-thinking projects with strong feasibility and potential for replicability to maximize impact.
